How much does a closet organizer cost in Charlotte, NC?
With Get Rewardrobed, a professional closet organizer in Charlotte costs $195 for one closet (The Edit), $425 for a full closet rebuilt as a system (The Reset), and $850 and up for a whole wardrobe. Most clients book The Reset.
What each price includes
The Edit is $195 and runs under 2 hours. It is one closet or one space, sorted and put back so you can see what you own, with the resale-ready pieces pulled for consignment and the rest handled for donation. Basic organizing supplies are included, and a $50 deposit holds the date.
The Reset is $425 and takes a half day (4 hours). The closet is emptied down to the rod and rebuilt as a system by category and use. We style a few go-to outfits, price every resale piece for your payout, and document the donation for your tax receipt. Organizing supplies are included, and a $100 deposit holds the date.
The Whole Wardrobe starts at $850 and is a full day plus. It is The Reset across multiple closets, multiple rooms or the whole home, quoted to the space once we confirm the scope with you, with a $150 deposit. Estate work and full downsizings are scoped in a consultation and quoted to the job.
Recurring clients pay less per visit. The Seasonal Membership is 2 full Resets a year at $370 each, and the Quarterly Membership is 4 a year at $335 each, with dates held on your schedule and no per-visit deposit. A 5 percent platform fee is added at checkout on every package and membership.

Why we price by package, not by the hour
Many organizers quote an hourly rate with a minimum, which means the number you pay depends on how long your closet takes and you do not know it until the end. We price the scope instead. One closet is one price, a full closet rebuilt is one price, and a whole wardrobe is quoted before we start.
Flat pricing also keeps the decision honest. Nobody is watching a clock while you decide whether a blazer stays. The session takes the time the closet needs, and the price was settled when you booked.
Organizer or closet installer?
When people search for a closet organizer in Charlotte, half the results are companies that build closets. A closet installer sells a closet system: custom closet cabinetry, shelving, rods and drawers, designed, built and installed. Those quotes usually run well into the thousands for a single walk-in, and they change the room without touching what is in it.
We are the other kind of closet organizer. We do not install anything. We work with the closet you already have, take every piece out, decide each one with you, and rebuild the closet around what stays. If the closet itself is the problem, an installer is the right call. If what is in the closet is the problem, which is the case far more often, a professional organizer is.
What changes the price
Scope is the main thing. One closet is The Edit or The Reset. More than one closet, or a closet plus the overflow in a guest room or bonus room, is The Whole Wardrobe. The second thing is supplies. Basic organizing supplies, meaning matching hangers, dividers and labels, are already in the price of The Edit and The Reset. If you want a specific finished look with uniform boxed storage or drawer inserts, we source it at cost plus a 15 percent fee, and nothing is bought until you approve the list and the spend.
The third thing is frequency. A membership holds two or four dates a year at a lower per-visit price, and members are booked ahead of one-time clients.
What comes back to you
This is the part of the cost question other organizers cannot answer. The pieces you edit out are consigned at Rewardrobed, our own one-of-one resale shop, so you are paid when they sell or take instant store credit. The rest leaves as a documented donation with a receipt for your taxes. We do not promise that consignment covers the cost of a reset, because that depends on what is in your closet. We do promise that nothing with value gets thrown in a bag by the door.
Questions people ask
Is there a travel fee in the Charlotte metro?
No. Every Charlotte-metro ZIP books at the package price with no travel fee. Outside the metro, join the waitlist on the menu and we will reach out if we can cover your area.
Does the deposit come off the total?
Yes. The deposit holds your date and applies to your total. The balance is due when the work is done, and you can reschedule up to 48 hours ahead at no charge.
What does The Reset at $425 include that The Edit does not?
Time and depth. The Edit sorts one space in under two hours. The Reset empties the closet completely, rebuilds it as a system by category and use, styles a few go-to outfits, prices every resale piece and documents the donation. It is the package that changes how the closet works.
Do you charge by the hour if the job runs long?
No. The package price is the price. If a closet is bigger than its package, we say so when we confirm the scope and quote The Whole Wardrobe instead.
What is the 5 percent platform fee at checkout?
A flat 5 percent platform fee is added to the package or membership price at checkout. It is shown before you pay and it is the same on every booking.
Can consignment pay for the reset?
Sometimes, and we never promise it. A closet with designer pieces, occasion wear worn once and tagged items that never made it into rotation can return a meaningful amount over time. A closet of well-worn basics will not. Either way, you see the priced list before anything leaves.
